Conflicting Reports on Mechanical Issues Arise in Investigation into Paul Walker’s Fatal Crash

Following the tragic death of Paul Walker late last month, an investigation conducted by law enforcement reportedly concluded that there were no mechanical problems with the Porsche involved in the crash.
According to a source who spoke with the Associated Press, “We’re looking at speed and speed alone,” while also waiting on Porsche engineers to extract info from the onboard data collectors to pinpoint just how fast they were going.
However, TMZ sources have conflicting information, reporting that the investigation is still ongoing and no determinations have been made about the cause, meaning speed may not be the only factor.
Upon arrival, the Porsche engineers from Germany will examine what’s left of the vehicle, including the engine, brakes and tires, to make a final determination of the cause of the accident.
