Annual GRAMMY® Week Event Honors
Recipients Of The Lifetime Achievement Award, 
Trustees Award, Technical GRAMMY Award,

Attendees include Bee Gees member, Barry Gibb; blues guitarist Buddy Guy; Tejano accordionist Flaco Jiménez; inventor Ray Kurzweil; songwriting duo Barry Mann Cynthia Weil; producer Richard Perry; jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter;  jazz promoter George Wein; and the recipient of the Music Educator Award.TM

Family members or representatives of conductor/composer Pierre Boulez, Bee Gees members Robin and Maurice Gibb; multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter George Harrison; country duo Charlie and Ira Louvin; and President/CEO of The Recording Academy® Neil Portnow will also be in attendance. Additionally, members of GRAMMY Camp® – Jazz Session will perform.

Special Merit Awards Ceremony 
The Recording Academy will present Bee GeesPierre BoulezBuddy Guy, George HarrisonFlaco JiménezLouvin Brothers, and Wayne Shorter as Lifetime Achievement Award recipients; Richard PerryBarry Mann & Cynthia Weil and George Wein as Trustees Award honorees; and Ray Kurzweil as the Technical GRAMMY Award recipient. In its second year, The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Foundation® will present the Music Educator Award, which was established to recognize current educators (kindergarten through college, public and private schools) who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music education in the schools. A formal acknowledgment of all recipients will be made during the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards® telecast, which will be held at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 and broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
